Autologous Blood Therapy / ACP Therapy (PDF)
The healing power of your own blood: ACP therapy uses the body's own growth factors for natural regeneration of joint and muscle pain.

Why you might need it
ACP/PRP therapy is used mainly for musculoskeletal complaints, such as osteoarthritis or tendon problems, when conventional measures don't help enough. It can be an option if you prefer treatments based on the body's own material – though the scientific evidence is mixed.
What to expect
After a brief blood draw, the blood is processed in a centrifuge. The resulting plasma is then injected in a targeted way. Several sessions one to two weeks apart are often planned. Beforehand we discuss realistically the possible benefit, alternatives and possible side effects.

The treatment is not among the services of mandatory basic insurance and is usually self-pay. Detailed information is available in the linked information sheet.
